The TwizyLine team led by Assocaited Professor Juan Carlos Aguado of the GCO group, presents the winning project of the national phase of the Renault TwizyContest 2020 that will represent Spain in the international final.
TwizyLine is now a reality. The students of the ETSIT, Adrián Mazaira, Ignacio Royuela and Samuel Pilar, and the student of Journalism, Mario Martín, in addition to their university tutor, Juan Carlos Aguado, have designed a carsharing platform with autonomous parking with the aim of improving the mobility of athletes and journalists at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. The design respects the restrictions on polluting vehicles and any it is prepared for any kind of cars, although always electric.

Members of UVa, the Higher Technical School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSIT), the regional government of Junta de Castilla y León and Renault participate in an event with the representatives of Spain for the international final, the TwizyLine team led by Associate Professor Juan Carlos Aguado of the GCO.
The TwizyLine project has been selected to represent Spain for the international final of the Renault TwizyContest 2020, which will take place on the 9th December. The dean of University of Valladolid, Antonio Largo Cabrerizo, the director of the ETSIT, Patricia Fernández, the vice advisor of universities and innovation of the regional government, Pilar Garcés and the director of Engineering of Renault Spain, Marc Bodin, gave the award to the team formed by 3 students of the ETSIT, Adrián Mazaira, Ignacio Royuela and Samuel Pilar, and a student of Journalism, Mario Martín, in addition to their tutor Juan Carlos Aguado, and the tutors from Renault, Daniel Castaño and Jairo Gurdiel. The event took place at the Palace of Santa Cruz, where the prize was presented to the winners and they were wished the best of luck for the final in Paris.
